All sensors communicate wirelessly to the Titan Products TPZ-Net co-ordinator using Zigbee wireless technology. The TPZ-COORD/BMS collects the information from up to 99 sensor points on the wireless network and exposes these directly on to a BACnet network.

The TPZ-Net range of wireless sensors are available in Room, Outside, Duct sensors, Immersion sensors, and Clamp-on variants to suit any applications ranging from Co2 measurement in schools and offices to flow temperatures in plant rooms. Every sensor is completely wireless!

Discrete Temperature Sensing

Titan Products are pleased to the announce the addition of the Flush Mounted Discrete temperature sensor (TPFMTS) to their range of discrete and anti-ligature range of temperature sensors.

The TPFMTS is designed to fit flush to walls, ceilings and floors and can then be painted over to match any interior making the sensor the most discrete sensor that Titan Products have offered to date.

Button Sensors

Although these sensors can be fitted to other plates to suit the fixtures of existing buildings. The button sensors are also available without a plate to aid fitting in discrete locations.

Flush Mounted Temperature Sensors

Under Floor & Fan Coil Control at Milton Court

Titan Products have supplied 500+ FCU-4 fan coil controllers and RDU-4 interfaces to the Milton Court Residential development. Titan Products were tasked with supplying one controller for each zone that would be capable of controlling both the cooling via the fan coils and the heating via the under floor heating. This needed to be achieved without the two systems ever ‘fighting’ each other and being on at the same time.

Having a dedicated R&D team on site at Titan’s head office allowed Titan Products to meet this requirement easily. This was done by writing specific software for this development to ensure the control met with the specification of the project. This control flexibility is a feature of Titan’s business that we are extremely proud of.

The project also called for the Titan FCU-4 controller to interface seamlessly with a Crestron A/V and Lighting controller. This was achieved through the inbuilt BACnet communications that come as standard on the FCU-4 and all other temperature controllers in the Titan BACnet controller range. This integration allowed the occupant to adjust all their A/V, Lighting and HVAC requirements through one central touch screen in the living area.

With a list prices £165, the TITAN TPVDCO2 duct sensors provides CO2 and measurement of 0-2000ppm scaled across a 0-10V output.
The CO2 sensor employs Automatic Background Calibration (ABC Logic) to continuously adjust the calibration base to correct for changes in the background concentration levels and sensor drift.

After the first 24 hours of operation the CO2 sensor calibration algorithm starts and continuously monitors and automatically adjusts the sensor calibration over the life time of the product.
