Air Differential Pressure Sensors Explained:

TPDPT7 Differential Air Pressure Sesnors

Pressure Transmitters

Pressure transmitters are designed to measure the differential pressure between two points. Measuring the differential pressure in Pascal’s it then converts this reading into either a 0-5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA control output which a controller can interpret.

Depending on the customers application the pressure transmitter has 8 selectable ranges allowing them to select the Pascal range they want to work within.

The pressure sensor is designed to be used in ventilation and air conditioning systems to monitor fan filter conditions, air leaks and air pressure.

Common applications for pressure transmitters include fume cupboards, clean rooms and surgeon rooms.
