Titan Products launch new CO sensor
14 / 05 / 2010
Titan Products have recently launched a new range of CO Sensors to create some of the most flexible and efficient CO sensors on the market. The CO Sensors can be supplied in either wall (TPCO/WM) or duct (TPWO/DS) mounted formats depending on the application the sensor is used on.
Housed in an IP51 enclosure, the sensors are designed for applications that require measurement and monitoring of variable concentrations of CO and can be used to control ventilation rates and extract systems for applications such as car parks, loading bays, incinerator and boiler rooms.
A new feature of the TPCO/WM and TPCO/DS sensors is the Boost Option. At the CO guidance levels stated in EN50291 the TITAN CO sensor provides an option to boost (increase) the signal output to activate an increase in ventilation rates with the purpose of purging the area that is being monitored.
The CO sensors are supplied pre-calibrated and employ a solid state temperature compensated cell with microprocessor enabling the sensor to monitor CO levels with great accuracy, stability and sensitivity. The sensor has an output value and sensor fault indication in the form of an LED as standard.
With a 24V AC or DC supply, 3 selectable ranges, and outputs of 0-5V, 0-10V and 4-20mA the new CO Sensor range from TITAN Products is their most advanced gas CO sensor to date.
